TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
